Naim Ateek traveled to Tipperary, Ireland where he lectured to a group of Catholic clergy for three full day session. He made such an impact that two of the clergy have decided to form a new Friends of Sabeel-Ireland chapter and held their first meeting on Feb. 11. Our thanks and best wishes to them.
Sabeel is happy to announce the arrival of our newest member of the Sabeel family, Hayah D’ides, who is our new Youth Coordinator. We wish her all the best in this very import part of the ministry of Sabeel.
Work on the Solidarity Visit continues. The decision was made to hold the event even if the U.S. decides to go ahead with a war on Iraq. Unless Israel decides to cancel all flights we will plan on hosting those who wish to participate during this critical time. Acts of solidarity is needed now more than ever.
